Getting to the Gold Coast 600
March 24, 2017
As with most street circuits, getting to and from these events can be a tad frustrating if you haven’t planned out your entry and exit strategy! Here’s our top tips for this year’s V8 Supercars Gold Coast 600:
Tip 1 – By far the best way to travel to and from the Castrol Gold Coast 600 event is by public transport as parking is limited in areas surrounding the race circuit.
Tip 2 – Race fans who have a pre-purchased event entry ticket or hold official accreditation passes to the 2017 GC600 event can travel free to and from the event on the G Link Trams, Surfside buses and Queensland Rail City Network trains from Friday until Sunday (inclusive).
Tip 3 – Have the kids in tow? Kids aged 12 and under can travel for free on certain public transport services when they are with an adult who is in possession of a valid entry ticket.
Tip 4 – Plan your public transport journey with the TransLink Journey Planner available from the TransLink website or by calling TransLink on 13 12 30.
