Seating Package Options

As with any major sporting event, your choice of seating is an important decision. Churchill Downs® has an array of seating packages for the Kentucky Derby which is easily broken down into three levels:

Premium: As the name suggests, expect the best of the best. Premium seating options deliver on all fronts, fantastic bars and mouthwatering gourmet food options. Combine this with the all the glamour and party atmosphere on offer you’re certain of a memorable horse racing and hospitality experience. 

Clubhouse: Be at the right place at the right time during all the racing action. The Clubhouse seating options offer a wide variety of viewing experiences from the centre section of Churchill Downs® down to the first bend of the racetrack. 

Grandstand: See all the Kentucky Derby racing action from these seating areas including from the starting gate to the final turn. Includes three levels of available seating options – covered and uncovered.

The Kentucky Derby

Well known as “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports”, the Kentucky Derby brings horse racing to Louisville every year in the first week of May. A world class field of the best 3 year olds who race over 2010 metres at the infamous Churchill Downs race track.

Kentucky Oaks

Held on the eve of the big one, the Kentucky Derby, the Kentucky Oaks is a race for three-year old fillies over 1810 metres. This iconic race day celebrates the long standing partnership between Churchill Downs® with Bright Pink and Horses and Hope. Race goers are encouraged to highlight this important partnership by adding pink to their race day outfits along with the official Kentucky Oaks flower, the Stargazer Lily.

Visiting the city of Louisville

A vibrant unique American city, Louisville delights and surprises all who visit with its quirkiness and friendliness that the South has become well known for. The taste, culture and spirit of Bourbon runs deep in this region and defines this great American city’s history. Building on this, Louisville continues to innovate and thrive with plenty to see and do. From chic cool micro-distilleries, a vibrant cocktail scene along with a next-level twist on southern cuisine, its food culture has seen it rank as one of the best new food destinations in the U.SA. In addition to the world class horse racing at Churchill Downs, other major attractions that tourists should see include the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory and the Muhammad Ali Centre. And that’s just a little taster of what to expect when you visit this great city!

Booking Conditions

• A non-refundable deposit of 35% of your total package within 5 working days from receiving your Booking Confirmation.
• A further 35% no later than the 15th November 2024.
• Final Balance due no later than 15th February 2025.
• Tours, Transfers and any other extras are due with final payment.
• Packages prices are subject to AUD and USD currency fluctuations and are subject to change.

• Bank Transfer (details will be shown on your invoice).
• Credit Card (Surcharges apply).
• Cheques can be made payable to PlaySeeGo Travel Group Pty Ltd and mailed to PO Box 34, Kew East, Victoria, 3102.

Additional Terms

• There are no refunds on unused services or stage payments.
• We strongly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance to mitigate any financial loss should you be unable to travel when required.
