Chateau Elan – 5 star Luxury
Nestled among rolling vineyards and overlooking manicured fairways, the award-winning Château Élan at The Vintage is one of Australia’s finest integrated golf, spa and conference resorts located in the heart of the famed Hunter Valley. A destination as much for its breathtaking scenery as for its comprehensive offering, the resort offers luxury hotel style accommodation, four conference and event venues, an award-winning spa and Greg Norman-designed golf 18 hole golf course. Surrounded by vineyards and meandering cellar door wine trails, making it as ideal for family holidays and quick weekends away.
Cypress Lakes Golf Course
Nestled in the infamous New South Wales wine district of Hunter Valley, Cypress Lakes ranks proudly as one of Australia’s best golf hotel. The Cypress Lakes layout is a picturesque 6,487 metre, par 72, 18-hole championship golf course and is widely revered thanks to it’s pristine fairways, manicured greens and unique layout. Completed and opened in 1992, Cypress Lakes was designed by Steve Smyers of Florida. Each tee and green on this course enjoys stunning panoramic views of the Hunter Valley’s famous vineyards and the Brokenback mountain range. This championship layout boasts breathtaking fairway shapes and elevation changes, 60 strategically located bunkers and largish greens that are in superb condition year round.
The Vintage Golf Course
Arguably the Hunter Valley’s most revered golf experience. Set in the region’s iconic vineyards, The Vintage never fails please. The renowned Greg Norman designed layout is an example of golf course architecture at it’s finest and the result of some of his best work that you can find in Australia. The rugged bunkers are a signature of Norman’s designs – high and intimidating but with an ideal amount of sand to reward cleanly hit shots. The Vintage is well known for its conditioning. Lush green couch fairways provide players with a greater confidence on approach shots but are also firm enough to ensure enough run from the tee.
