Motegi Twin Ring Circuit – a MotoGP™ fan’s delight!
An absolute legend on the MotoGP™ racing schedule is Japan’s Twin Ring Motegi, situated in Motegi. What sets this track apart is its daring figure-eight layout, complete with an overpass and an underpass. The layout combines high-speed straights with thrilling turns, creating an exciting and multifaceted racing experience for spectators. The Motul Grand Prix of Japan 2023 demonstrated in this year’s season why this venue is an annual favorite on the MotoGP calendar. But it’s not just the track; it’s the challenging weather conditions, often marked by wet weather and strong winds, that elevate the danger and excitement of racing.
Utsunomiya
The best location to stay for your 2025 Japanese Motorcycle Grand Prix experience is the city of Utsunomiya. Utsunomiya is the capital city of Tochigi Prefecture, located in the northern Kanto region of Japan. 2. Historical Significance
Utsunomiya has a rich historical background. It was a key location during the Edo period, serving as a post town along the ancient Nikko Kaido road. Utsunomiya Castle, partially restored, offers a glimpse into the city’s historical role as a strategic stronghold.
3. Proximity to Nature
Although Utsunomiya is a modern urban city, it offers easy access to nature. The city is surrounded by scenic landscapes, including Mount Nantai and the nearby Nikko National Park, known for its stunning waterfalls, hiking trails, and historic temples and shrines.
