Cape Wickham Golf Links & Ocean Dunes Golf Course 

Golf Digest recently rated Cape Wickham as Australia’s best golf course. Cape Wickham was designed by the highly regarded architects Mike DeVries and Darius Oliver and is built on 393 acres on prime coastal King Island land. The uniqueness of layout memorable and is defined by the Bass Strait views on each and every hole. The course winds its way through the Cape Farewell headland and finishes in the Victoria Cove region of King Island.

Until 2015, the only golf facility on the island was the modest little composite 18-hole course at King Island Golf & Bowling Club, featuring seventeen tees, twelve greens and ten fairways. Then, along came the Mike Devries-designed Cape Wickham links 30 miles to the north, followed a year later by Graeme Grant’s Ocean Dunes.

Suddenly, almost overnight, King Island became a golf destination that now features high on the “must play” bucket list of intrepid golfers the world over, especially those who like to play the game on as many top class courses as possible in the least accessible corners of the globe.

Booking Conditions

• A deposit of 30% of your package is required to confirm your booking.
• Final Balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
• Subject to availability at the time of booking, certain event dates and peak periods may incur additional charges.
• Rates are based on high season dates. Contact us if you would like to travel off peak for discounted pricing.

• Credit Card (surcharges apply).
• Cheques can be made payable to PlaySeeGo Travel Group Pty Ltd and posted to PO Box 34, Kew East, Victoria, 3102.

Additional Terms

• Cancellation fees are charged by golf courses, airlines, hotels and other suppliers.
• Alteration fees may apply to some bookings.
• Booking costs are subject to change until final payment has been received and cleared by Mate’s Escapes.
